Steering Control Systems & Software Engineer

We are seeking a Steering Control Systems & Software Engineer to join our team.

As a Steering Control Systems & Software Engineer, you will analyze and refine system and software requirements for automotive steering systems, ensuring functional consistency and traceability. You will define and document system and software functional requirements, considering steering control strategies, operating modes, performance targets, and safety constraints.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing system and software functional architectures for steering control functions
• Developing and optimizing steering control algorithms using Model-Based Design with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
• Contributing to the development of steering functions such as steering assistance, torque control, position control, steering feel, and fault management
• Performing model verification and validation activities, including static analysis and Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) testing
• Generating embedded C code and ensuring compliance with applicable coding standards
• Supporting software integration and validation on steering ECUs

Requirements:

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in Embedded Systems, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in automotive system and/or software development
• Mandatory experience in steering control functions, control algorithms, or system architecture
• Strong knowledge of automotive control systems, including closed-loop control, torque and position control, and feedback strategies
• Solid experience in system and software requirements analysis, functional architecture design, and V-cycle development
• Experience in Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
