Description
HP is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join their IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise security solutions. This includes data loss prevention, SSL decryption and inspection, secure service edge, and web application firewall implementations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in multi-platform security technologies and managing various security controls. They will be able to work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT architecture, IT support, cybersecurity, and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design, development, communication, and maintenance of advanced security solutions
- Partnering with managed service providers to ensure optimal performance of security solutions
- Assisting with security incident investigations and responses
- Recommending and implementing security policies and best practices
- Monitoring DLP alerts and events, analyzing trends, and generating regular reports
- Collaborating with vendor account teams to understand and implement new security enhancements
- Conducting training sessions for cross-functional teams on relevant security solutions and best practices
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 7 years of industry experience, with 3-5 years at the Expert level
- Certifications or advanced training in Zscaler products, Microsoft E3, and other relevant cybersecurity tools
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in enterprise networking environments
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
In terms of salary and benefits, HP offers a comprehensive package, including:
- A salary range of $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually
