Physical Therapist - Acute Care Rehab

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for our Acute Care Rehab team at Atrium Health Union and Union West. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, establish care plans, and provide therapy services to help them recover from illness or injury.

Essential Functions:

• Evaluate patients and develop care plans
• Gather and interpret data from medical records and physician reports
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff
• Provide patient and family education
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and technicians

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 50 pounds
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
• Occasional climbing stairs, kneeling, twisting, and bending
• Adequate hearing and vision for communication and reading

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• CPR Certification and BLS required
