As a Development Manager in the EA SPORTS Technology Group, you will partner with Technical Artists to support the successful delivery of tools, workflows, and content across EA SPORTS.

The Technical Art team is a central service team that supports multiple game development projects, each with different timelines, priorities, and delivery needs. In this role, you will help the team stay organised, follow project plans, track progress, identify risks, and support delivery across milestones.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day support for Technical Artists by tracking work, following up on open items, and maintaining clear team information
  • Clarifying production priorities and aligning team efforts with project goals by gathering information, tracking dependencies, and supporting conversations with internal and external partners
  • Facilitating collaboration within the Technical Art team and with partner teams, identifying blockers, surfacing risks, and resolving open issues early
  • Partnering with the Development Director and Technical Art Directors to support team planning, onboarding, resourcing conversations, and development opportunities for team members

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of project management, production, or team coordination experience in software development, game development, or a related technical environment
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Interactive Entertainment, Commerce, Digital Arts, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum frameworks is an asset
  • Experience using JIRA/JaaS
  • Familiarity with tools such as Miro, Slack, Excel, Google Sheets, and other project-tracking and reporting tools is an asset

This is a 12-month temporary position and requires on-site (hybrid 3x per week) in-studio work from our Burnaby, B.C. studio. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
