Description
Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Technical Artist to join the EA SPORTS Tech team in Vancouver. The successful candidate will develop pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations used by content creators across all of EA SPORTS.
The Senior Technical Artist will partner with development teams to build shared and scalable solutions, focusing on content production tools, pipelines, asset optimization/integration, and workflows. They will be responsible for resolving technical issues that arise on their projects.
The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience in cinematic or games production, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python or C#.
Responsibilities:
- Develop pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations for content creators
- Partner with development teams to build shared and scalable solutions
- Focus on content production tools, pipelines, asset optimization/integration, and workflows
- Resolve technical issues that arise on projects
Qualifications:
- At least 6 years of cinematic/games production experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Effective communication skills with different audiences
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python or C#
- Experience with 2D/3D art packages such as Maya, Photoshop, Houdini
- Solutions-provider with experience in testing and debugging technical issues
- Experience with asset optimization challenges/techniques
- Willingness to learn and solve new problems
