Description
As our Senior Partner Manager DACH, you'll own and grow Tellent's partner ecosystem across the DACH market. You'll inherit an established network of reseller and referral partners, including a group of key strategic partners with significant growth potential , and your role is to turn that foundation into a stronger, more predictable source of pipeline and revenue.
Your 12-Month Journey:
- During the first 3 months: You build a strong understanding of the DACH partner ecosystem, establish relationships with key partners and Sales stakeholders, and define a clear plan for where to focus your time and investment.
- Within 6 months: You're independently managing the partner portfolio, driving joint business plans with key partners, generating quality pipeline, and identifying new partner opportunities.
- After 1 year: You're driving predictable partner-sourced pipeline and revenue across DACH, growing the strategic partner portfolio, and expanding the ecosystem with new partners that contribute meaningful business.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Strategic Partner Management: Own and grow Tellent's most impactful DACH partner relationships, building long-term relationships and joint business plans focused on mutual growth.
- Partner Performance: Monitor partner health, pipeline and revenue performance, identify risks early, and hold partners accountable to agreed activities and results.
- Commercial Growth: Generate partner-sourced pipeline and revenue, improve opportunity quality and conversion, and ensure strong collaboration with Sales throughout the deal cycle.
- Account & Whitespace Planning: Work side by side with strategic partners to analyse their customer base, identify whitespace opportunities and build plans to generate new business together.
- Partner Acquisition: Identify, qualify and recruit high-potential new partners, particularly across the HR ecosystem, assessing them based on strategic fit and revenue potential.
- Activation & Enablement: Ensure new and existing partners are effectively enabled on Tellent, our products, ICP and sales approach, and turn partnerships into active commercial relationships.
- Market Development: Bring a strong point of view on the DACH market, identifying opportunities beyond the existing partner ecosystem and translating ideas into concrete execution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, particularly the DACH Sales team, as well as Marketing and other Partnerships colleagues to improve deal execution, campaigns, enablement and pipeline quality.
- Operational Excellence: Identify recurring friction in the partner GTM motion and contribute to improving playbooks, cadences, partner planning and ways of working across the wider Partnerships team.
What You Bring:
- Partnership Experience: Several years of experience in a partner, channel or business development role, with a proven track record of building and growing strategic partner relationships.
- DACH Market Expertise: Strong understanding of the German market and ideally an established network of relevant DACH partners.
- SaaS Experience: Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally within HR tech or an adjacent mid-market/SMB environment.
- Commercial Skill: Strong understanding of pipeline generation, forecasting, partner planning and commercial performance, with experience in reseller and/or referral models.
- Strategic Thinking: Able to assess a partner portfolio, identify where the biggest opportunities are, and make clear decisions about where to invest time and resources.
- Execution: You don't just have ideas , you turn them into structured plans, actions and measurable results.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: You take ownership of the DACH partner business as if it were your own, proactively looking for opportunities and challenging existing assumptions.
- Relationship Building: Strong at building trusted relationships while also being comfortable setting expectations, challenging partners and addressing underperformance.
- Self-Management: Highly organised and able to manage a broad portfolio, prioritising time effectively across partners, Sales and new opportunities.
- Communication: Professional fluency in German and English, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and operating across cross-functional teams.
- Travel: Comfortable travelling regularly across Germany to build and maintain strong in-person partner relationships.
