Contract Recruiter / Talent Acquisition

We are seeking a Contract Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner to join GenScript's team for a 6-month contracted period, with potential conversion to permanent after the contract. The position is based onsite in Piscataway, NJ, with 4 days per week onsite and 1 day remote flexibility, offering $40-$43 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-volume recruitment activities for open positions in US sites from a technical and cultural perspective.
• Utilize Linked-In Recruiter for passive sourcing to diversify the talent pipeline for mid-senior to upper management level roles.
• Conduct initial phone screenings, coordinate follow-up interviews, and pass leads to the talent team when applicable.
• Host weekly new hire orientation sessions and ensure smooth onboarding of new employees.
• Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Experience with Talent Acquisition in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience as a headhunter or from an agency background is preferred.
• Specific recruiting experience in the biotechnology / life science / biopharmaceutical industry is a strong plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong rapport with business stakeholders.
• Experience with passive sourcing and diversifying talent pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter and related channels.
• Experience with driving process standardization and improvement efforts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
