Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Software Engineer to lead the development of an internal product that measures, tracks, and reports on open-source readiness across the DSX OS portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the platform as production infrastructure, maintaining, hardening, and evolving it from a measurement tool into a system every DSX OS project runs on
  • Automating scoring, replacing manual review-fix-recheck loops with tooling, and enabling self-serve integration
  • Building scoring into onboarding and workshop experiences, providing real-time feedback to participants
  • Working directly with project teams, capturing friction signals, and feeding them back into the product
  • Automating the generation and tracking of per-project readiness plans, ensuring transparency to leadership

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience leading a software product or internal platform end-to-end
  • Strong software engineering skills, with a track record of turning manual processes into reliable automation
  • Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor)
  • Experience running a production system, with a focus on uptime and reliability
  • Experience building reporting or dashboards that a non-engineering audience can trust

To stand out from the crowd, you should have:

  • Experience building or operating a rubric-based scoring or compliance system
  • Experience using LLMs within an evaluation pipeline
  • Designed a metric or signal taxonomy from scratch
  • Built a tool that abstracts over multiple backends or platforms
  • Experience with GitOps-style automation

NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries, ranging from $168,000 to $270,250, and a comprehensive benefits package.
