Forward Model Quality Infotainment Engineer

In this role, you'll serve as a quality champion for electrical, infotainment, and connectivity systems on future vehicle programs, identifying potential failures before they reach customers.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Change Point Analysis (CPA) and collaborate with Product Development and suppliers to ensure accurate documentation
• Partner with design engineers, program management, and suppliers to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions
• Audit program quality deliverables against Global Product Development Process (GPDS) milestones and launch readiness criteria
• Analyze quality, warranty, and customer satisfaction data using AI-powered analytics tools and enterprise warranty/reporting systems
• Utilize approved AI-assisted tools and industry-standard platforms like Jira, Jama Connect, and internal engineering requirements systems to enhance documentation reviews and cross-team collaboration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
• 3-5+ years of experience in automotive or electronics quality engineering, with exposure to electrical hardware and/or embedded software systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience applying Problem Solving methods
• Familiarity with FMEA/DFMEA methodology, root-cause problem-solving techniques, and verification/validation planning

• Working knowledge of tools like Jira, Jama Connect, Ford Engineering Design Environment (FEDE), Global System for Analytics and Reporting (GSAR), MagicDraw, and AI-assisted DFMEA review tools

The salary range for this position is $84,480-$162,120.
