Description
We are seeking a Bank Support Worker to join our team at Dinorwic Road in Southport, Merseyside. The successful candidate will be part of a compassionate team committed to the wellbeing of our residents, who have learning disabilities and mental health needs.
As a Bank Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with assessing and implementing individual care plans, undertake routine tasks and activities to promote wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of residents. You will be responsible for:
- Contributing to maintaining safety, security, and confidentiality standards through your professional behaviour
- Undertaking key working responsibilities for individual service users, supporting them to plan goals and personal outcomes
- Facilitating and supporting service users in decision-making, promoting choice and involvement
- Presenting the service in a positive light and making suggestions for improvement
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in social care, healthcare, or a related support role, experience working with people with disabilities, mental health challenges, or elderly clients. Strong communication skills are essential.
