Description
We are seeking a Healthcare Data Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data maintenance team, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of healthcare organizations and prescribers in all databases in the US region.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Completing maintenance of reference data, including healthcare organizations and prescribers, as essential for US production
- Performing research, such as internet searches, phone verification, and database matches, to gather information from third parties that will validate the completeness or accuracy of the data
- Conducting outbound phone verification of details on organization and prescriber records to validate accuracy of reference data maintained, as well as capturing client-required details such as primary office address and primary profession/specialty
- Performing ad hoc data analysis and participating in various process improvements as needed
- Validating that the information gathered from third-party sources represents accurate new data that should result in an update, creation, or deletion in the database existing data
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in handling voice and healthcare accounts is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Basic knowledge of Windows applications, including Excel and Word
- Strong verbal and/or written communication skills in either the language of the country supplied or English
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to demonstrate strong understanding of complex concepts and processes
- Initiative and self-motivation to see through concerns raised by clients until resolution
- Willingness to work at night
