Electrical Test Engineer

As a Camera Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that systems are tested to stringent standards, consistently shipping high-quality products to customers.

You will think creatively to solve difficult testing problems and continuously improve automation methods, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining ownership of test activities in production and ensuring production test flow
• Providing hands-on troubleshooting efforts and resolving complex infrared systems issues
• Maintaining test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream
• Generating test work instructions and training technicians
• Developing software for test automation, data analytics, and report generation
• Determining root causes of product failures and recommending corrective actions
• Collaborating with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams
• Analyzing test data and providing detailed reports
• Optimizing test strategies for efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintaining and calibrating test equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment
• Experience with data acquisition and processing with MATLAB, Python, and other programming languages
• Experience with test automation and report generation
• Strong root cause analysis skills
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Experience working on projects involving electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
