Trust and Safety Policy, Ads Policy, Lead (Europe)

Reddit is seeking an experienced Ads Policy Lead who has significant subject matter expertise, strong policy development capabilities, and thrives in dynamic environments.

This is a senior individual contributor role, with no people management responsibilities, reporting to our Head of Ads Policy. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for driving the research and development of large-scale policies that impact Reddit's global advertising platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, drafting, and maintaining strategic advertising policies across Reddit's ads products as a subject matter expert in the EMEA region
• Drafting risk assessments and strategic policy recommendations for senior cross-functional leaders and executive stakeholders
• Serving as a role model of Reddit's Company Values and providing guidance as a senior peer leader
• Making decisions on highly complex, grey-area ads policy escalations

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of experience in compliance, standards, or policy development and implementation, with significant experience in tech, digital platforms, advertising, Trust and Safety, or a related policy function
• A proven track record of taking complete, reliable ownership of complex policy projects
• Deep subject matter expertise in advertising or content policy on an international scale
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

• Direct experience working on advertising policies within a major tech platform
• Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows
