Senior Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist. As a Senior Consultant Specialist, you will work closely with the GTRF application team to provide high-quality support services and resolve production incidents within the agreed-upon SLA.

Principal responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the GTRF application team to address production issues
• Provide high-quality support services to the business and resolve production incidents within the SLA

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 8+ years of experience in application development, including 5 years of team-leading experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Java programming and related technologies
• Experience with SQL and/or other database technologies
• Experience in banking/supply chain finance systems is a plus
• Strong software engineering background with a rich understanding of major software concepts and experience in managing the whole SDLC under Agile methodology
• Good command of both written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in Cantonese
• Proactive personality with self-motivation, good analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure

Additional skills that would be beneficial:

• E2E development/technical lead
• Senior Java, Spring, Hibernate developers with Work Stream knowledge and leadership experience
• Good technical documentation skills (English, formal notations like UML)
• Governance/custodianship experience
• Define document standard and process
• Management experience – Agile project planning/project management
• Ability to work dynamically as a liaison between multiple work streams, as a solutions lead, as a defect manager, and support manager
