Workday Integrations Architect

The Job

As a Workday Integrations Architect at Carta, you'll work on integrating Workday with internal and external platforms. You'll own the end-to-end integration pipeline, ensuring seamless connections and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and support Workday integrations using Studio, Orchestrations, Core Connectors, EIB, RaaS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Build mapping, transformation, and validation processes to maintain data accuracy and compliance.
• Govern the integration lifecycle, including code migrations, production support, and Workday release cycles.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on integration design patterns and best practices.
• Extend Workday's capabilities through Extend applications, calculated fields, and business process automation.
• Maintain connections with external platforms like Greenhouse and HireVue.

The Team

You'll join Carta's People Platform team, which powers the work experience for nearly 2,000 employees globally. The team builds integrations and automation to keep people data accurate, compliant, and actionable.

Requirements

• 8 years of Workday experience and 4+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience.
• Fluency in the Workday data model and business processes across multiple modules.
• Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, XSD, SQL, and debugging integrations.
• Experience working in global environments with multi-region data flows and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Workday Extend and agentic AI or LLMs is a plus.

Salary

The minimum cash compensation range for this role is:

• $161,000 - $190,000 in New York and San Francisco
• $153,425 - $180,500 in Seattle
