Latin & Debate Teacher (2026-2027)

We are seeking a Latin & Debate Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Classical Charter Schools, located in Bronx, NY. The successful candidate will teach Latin and Debate to students across several grades, with a focus on maximizing student achievement and development.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Latin and Debate to students across several grades
• Develop and execute lessons that align with our classical curriculum
• Analyze data to inform instruction and drive student growth
• Establish and maintain a highly structured classroom culture
• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in history, classics, middle school education, or a related field
• At least 3 years of teaching experience
• Experience teaching Latin
• Experience teaching at a high-performing charter school (preferred)

Salary: $52,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on credentials and experience.
