Description
Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Technical Artist to join their EA SPORTS FC team in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The successful candidate will work onsite at EA Vancouver (Burnaby office) 3 days a week.
The Senior Technical Artist will develop pipelines, workflows, and technological innovations used by content creators from the FC team. They will partner with development teams to build shared and scalable solutions, focusing on in-game content workflows, asset optimization/integration at runtime, and taking ownership of one or a few domains in game development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop pipelines, workflows, and technological innovations for content creators

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Qualifications:
- At least 6+ years of games production experience
- Experience with game engines such as Unreal and blueprints
- Experience with content-related optimization techniques in games
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in scripting/programming languages such as Python or C#
- Solutions-provider mindset, especially for testing and debugging technical issues
- Willingness to tackle new problems and challenges
- Passion for games!
