Description
We're seeking a Global Workplace Design Director to serve as a senior leader within NVIDIA's Real Estate & Site Services (RESS) team, directing architectural, interior, furniture, and finish selections across all workplace and campus developments worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Drive unified development standards across Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture, and Finishes globally, ensuring every project reflects a cohesive NVIDIA design language.
- Provide leadership in building solutions for Campus Projects, Tenant Improvement Projects, and Datacenter Office Projects worldwide.
- Serve as the lead creative voice across Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture, and Finishes for all campus, tenant improvement, and datacenter office projects,guiding and uniting collaborators around a clear development vision.
- Lead NVIDIA's workplace build experimentation strategy: identify emerging trends and end-user needs, build and drive pilot programs to test new concepts, and define evaluation criteria for success.
- Assist regional leaders on pre-lease feasibility studies and general build issues. Lead initial new site visits and site studies for potential locations globally.
- Provide strategic mentorship to regional occupancy planners, facility managers, and office managers on architectural planning decisions.
- Coordinate review of architectural drawings and design documentation for campus projects to ensure alignment with NVIDIA Workplace Guidelines.
- Serve as the main lead and creative contact for all external architecture, interior development, furniture, and finishes partners worldwide,shaping creative intent and reviewing concepts and specifications.
- Coordinate budget planning and expenditure on design globally; assess budget constraints and define priorities for value engineering on design and FF&E.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in interior design or architecture from an accredited institution; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ overall years of professional experience in corporate workplace development.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit and Bluebeam.
- Comprehensive understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and workplace safety standards across multiple global regions.
- Proven ability to lead multiple large-scale, concurrent projects across geographies with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to travel to NVIDIA office sites in the regions.
Nice to Have:
- Experience leading in-house global workplace build functions at a high-tech company or within a corporate real estate organization in the technology sector.
- Well-rounded knowledge of foreign geography, cultures, practices, and markets.
- Experienced with the build of technical labs and specialized research environments.
- Deep expertise in hybrid work models, campus development strategy, and next-generation workplace innovations.
