Biotechnologist (Gene - Plasmid/Ligation)

We are seeking a Biotechnologist to join our team in Singapore. As a Biotechnologist, you will play a crucial role in accelerating innovation in biotech and healthcare.

Job Responsibilities:

For Gene Biotechnologist (Plasmid):

• Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and maintain a clean environment
• Lead resolution of technical challenges, optimize processes, and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Conduct experiments related to plasmid extraction, screening, and sequencing
• Analyze On-Time Delivery (OTD) and other operational KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
• Maintain a strong understanding of gene synthesis, plasmid extraction sequencing, and related production workflows
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives

For Gene Biotechnologist (Ligation):

• Operate and complete assigned daily experimental tasks for the ligation team
• Perform daily operations and equipment maintenance according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Arrange daily order sheets, record experimental data, and monitor equipment status
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and maintain a clean environment
• Provide support for optimization and innovation projects

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in bioengineering, pharmaceutical engineering, molecular biology, or a related field
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and gene synthesis software
• Excellent data analysis, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively
• Available to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with 2 rest days
