At Braze, we're a customer engagement platform that empowers brands to Be Absolutely Engaging™. We're seeking a Senior Technical Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Consulting organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining shared systems that the field deploys into, turning field signal into a build backlog, producing insight, and driving adoption of what the team builds.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain demo automation, agent and MCP skill packages, workflow plugins, and the discoverable asset repository
- Define what we need to know from the SolCon org, instrument how it's collected, and translate it into prioritized work with a named metric attached
- Produce insight, not reporting, on what happened, why it happened, and what changed as a result
- Reconcile what different regional teams already measure, and surface the patterns they aren't looking at
- Go find friction qualitatively by talking to SolCons, AEs, and regional leaders about how deals & their own processes actually run
- Take on high-leverage one-off requests where a bespoke build is genuinely the right call
- Drive adoption of what the team builds
- Partner with Field Architecture, POC Program Delivery, Security & Privacy, Tech Partnerships, and RFP Management
Requirements:
- Experience in an operations, go-to-market engineering, solutions engineering, or technical program management role in B2B SaaS
- Technical enough to build: comfortable with scripting and light application development (Python, JavaScript/Node, APIs, SDKs), and fluent with AI development tooling (Claude, Cursor, agent frameworks, MCP)
- Data-fluent: comfortable in Salesforce, Looker (or similar BI tooling) and a warehouse (Snowflake or similar)
- Understand how go-to-market teams actually operate , sales cycles, presales motions, and what makes a technical evaluation succeed or stall
- Able to build against a set of requirements, and equally able to write the requirements yourself when nobody hands them to you
- Self-directed and a strong communicator
