Accounts Payable and Settlement Officer

Job Responsibilities : This role involves processing vendor invoices, performing daily settlements and reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, maintaining accurate financial records, meeting reporting deadlines, driving process improvements, supporting AI/automation adoption, and handling ad-hoc tasks and inter-department finance queries.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and financial accounting tasks
• Monitoring and performing daily settlement activities
• Liaising with internal departments on finance and settlement-related matters
• Collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve settlement discrepancies
• Reviewing and processing vendor invoices
• Maintaining proper financial records and internal controls
• Ensuring all financial reporting timelines and deliverables are met
• Identifying process gaps and driving continuous improvements
• Supporting AI and automation tool adoption
• Participating in team meetings and handling ad-hoc tasks

Pre-Requisites :

• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
• Required skills: MS Office and SAP B1
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English
• Experience in regional S.E.A taxation is advantageous
• Well-versed in accounting software and Excel software
