Counsel, Corporate

Airbnb's Legal Department is seeking an experienced attorney to join our Corporate Legal team as a Counsel, Corporate. You will partner closely with Airbnb's Corporate Development team and other legal and cross-functional teams on M&A and other corporate and investment transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, warrants and other corporate transactions through all stages of a transaction lifecycle
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and other internal stakeholders regarding M&A strategy, risk management and execution
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents, including letters of intent, definitive agreements and ancillary documents
• Work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams across the company
• Manage outside counsel and contribute to the development of internal legal processes and best practices for M&A transactions

Requirements:

• JD and 5+ years of relevant experience working at a law firm or in-house, focused on M&A and corporate transactions
• Track record of independently running deal workstreams
• Strong organizational and process management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Sound business judgment, attention to detail and the ability to find practical and creative solutions to both legal and business problems
• High level of integrity, professionalism, intellectual curiosity and willingness to grow
• Positive attitude, sense of humor and high EQ
• Passion for the Airbnb mission
• Licensed in a US state

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.

We offer a competitive salary range of $196,000-$230,000 USD, and may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
