Billing Operations Analyst 1

Join Twilio as a Billing Operations Analyst 1, working remotely from Mexico City, Mexico.

As a Billing Operations Analyst 1 at Twilio, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our billing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and respond to external customer emails and queries in a timely manner.
• Onboard customers to Twilio's internal billing system and Financial ERP system.
• Gather and format large raw data sets to assist with customer billing reporting and queries.
• Participate in month-end close activities, including managing and tracking recurring billing, approvals, and customer credits.
• Analyze revenue-related balance sheet accounts and provide ad-hoc customer financial reporting.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial controls and processes surrounding revenue and invoicing.
• Participate in external and internal audits as requested.
• Resolve customer billing queries and provide detailed analysis of customer issues to the Sales team.
• Manipulate and analyze large datasets in Excel.
• Communicate effectively with the Sales team, customers, and Senior Leaders via Slack, SFDC, and calls.
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times.
• Collaborate with other teams to solve root problems to customer issues.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Billing, Revenue, or Order-to-Cash.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience working with Oracle, Zuora, and Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
• Solid experience working with large-volume transactions and strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel user with ability to handle large raw data sets using pivots and other functions.
• 1-3 years of experience in an Operations role.
• Periodic weekend work is essential for this role.
• Third-level qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or a Business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Spanish and English.
