Information Security Specialist

We are seeking an Information Security Specialist to join our team in MHP Romania.

As an Information Security Specialist, you will perform maturity and compliance assessments of the Information Security Management System (ISMS). You will also support ISMS implementation and documentation, raise awareness about ISMS, plan and perform internal audits and risk assessments, and support customers in preparing for certification audits.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing maturity and compliance assessments of the ISMS
• Supporting ISMS implementation and documentation
• Raising awareness about ISMS
• Planning and performing internal audits and risk assessments
• Supporting customers in preparing for certification audits
• Managing continuous improvement processes
• Coordinating ISMS corrective actions and their implementation roadmap

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 2-5 years of experience in Information Security, ISMS, GRC, Risk Management, or Security Compliance
• Experience with security controls and control effectiveness monitoring
• Experience supporting or coordinating internal and external audits
• Experience working in an international environment
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Well-organized, structured, and attentive to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good English skills (B2-C1) and German (minimum B1)

Nice-to-have skills include:

• In-depth knowledge of Information Security and related standards (ISO 27001, TISAX, NIS2, BSI Grundschutz)
• ISO 27001 Lead/Internal Auditor certification or similar
