Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team in Newcastle.

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our client's premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, hoover, mop, and disinfect various areas, including desks, surfaces, kitchens, and toilets
• Empty waste and top up consumables
• Pay close attention to detail and maintain high standards of cleaning
• Follow planned cleaning schedules and protocols
• Report any issues or deficiencies in systems of work or equipment
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and work equipment properly

Requirements:

• Experience in a cleaning, janitorial, or maintenance role is beneficial but not essential
• Understanding of how to use PPE
• Ability to follow company policies, cleaning protocols, and safety regulations
• Good attention to detail and excellent timekeeping
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
