Description
NVIDIA, a leader in computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing, is seeking an exceptional ASIC Verification Engineer for its Hardware Performance Monitor (HWPM) team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving high-quality verification of system-level IP across various levels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in verification engineering, with hands-on experience in unit and system-level verification. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans, implementing tests, and applying robust verification strategies to validate microarchitecture and design functionality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining system-level RTL and performance measurement methodologies for NVIDIA's SoCs and GPUs
- Creating and implementing reusable testbenches and testbench components using System Verilog and UVM
- Collaborating with architects, RTL designers, and software engineers to drive feature completeness, performance visibility, and verification closure
- Debugging and isolating issues effectively using waveform analysis and log analysis
Requirements:
- M.Tech. or equivalent in VLSI or Electronics Engineering, or B.Tech with 2+ years of experience in a similar domain
- Experience in unit and/or system-level verification
- Proficiency in System Verilog, UVM, and Python or industry-standard scripting languages
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as VCS, Xcelium, Verdi, or similar simulation/debug environments
- Strong understanding of RTL design concepts and experience working with Verilog or SystemVerilog
