Integration Engineer 3 (Email/ProofPoint)

The Associate Experience Technology team at Capital One connects users with simple, digitally enriched experiences that maximise associate productivity. As an Integration Engineer 3 (Email/ProofPoint), you will collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for associates
• Utilise programming languages like NodeJS, Python, and SQL, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, CM tools including Terraform, and various AWS tools and services
• Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor other members of the engineering community

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years of experience supporting or maintaining cross-platform integrations or system connectivity
• At least 3 years of experience developing or supporting API-based integrations using scripting or orchestration tools
• At least 1 year of experience driving testing, testing frameworks, or integrating new platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 3+ years of experience with deployment tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory)
• 3+ years of experience in Agile practices
• Experience managing identity and access within systems
• 4+ years of experience implementing or maintaining API-based integrations
• Experience collaborating with architects or platform teams to define integration frameworks and reference architectures
• 2+ years of experience automating infrastructure or system configuration using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog)
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading small integration-focused initiatives

Salary Information: McLean, VA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Integration Engineer 3 Richmond, VA: $119,400 - $136,200 for Integration Engineer 3
