Description
We are seeking an experienced Agile Dev Team Member IV to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. As an Agile Dev Team Member IV, you will have collective responsibility for the design, development, testing, and deployment of system functionality. You will provide guidance, mentorship, and training to direct reporting staff of Agile Dev team members.
The ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of relevant experience and possess technical skills in Guidewire PolicyCenter, Java, REST API, Product Model, and Guidewire Data Model Extension, as well as insurance domain knowledge.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting customer needs and contributing to system design
- Breaking down features and writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Executing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Performing broad and detailed impact assessments
- Supporting implementation activities, troubleshooting, and training
- Collaborating with the Product Owner to confirm code and acceptance tests reflect desired functionality
As an Agile Dev Team Member IV with a development discipline, you will:
- Code instructions for computer programs/objects/components in multiple applications
- Configure packaged software
- Provide expertise in solution design and functionality of business applications
- Review and validate application technical design of team members
- Analyze and evaluate existing manual and computerized systems/procedures to improve efficiency
As an Agile Dev Team Member IV with a testing discipline, you will:
- Analyze system and business requirements for testability
- Develop, document, execute, and maintain test cases and test data
- Identify complex errors and analyze results to troubleshoot and execute root cause analysis
- Report the status of test plan execution through defect logs and defect tracking systems
