Phillips Corporation is seeking a visionary Business Development Manager to redefine how manufacturing technology and sustainment services power the future of air and space dominance.
The successful candidate will be a former senior Air Force officer (O-5 or higher) or an accomplished defense Business Development executive with a proven Air Force focus. The role involves positioning Phillips as the indispensable partner for advanced manufacturing, turning high-level mission alignment into long-term, high-value contract vehicles that directly elevate force readiness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a peer, trusted advisor, and force multiplier to senior Air Force leadership
- Translating complex defense budget trends, operational gaps, and force modernization initiatives into high-impact growth strategies
- Embedding clear win themes and breakthrough value propositions into every pursuit
- Directing the end-to-end growth strategy, from early-stage market shaping and intelligence-driven pipeline execution to executive-level summit engagement and strategic account expansion
The ideal candidate will have an authentic, deep-rooted understanding of defense procurement pathways, federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS, OTAs), and the inner workings of the Air Force enterprise.
Phillips offers a collaborative culture and competitive pay and benefits, with a salary range of $160,000 to $180,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities.
