Description

NVIDIA is looking for a System Software Engineer to help build the modeling, validation, and bringup infrastructure that enables next-generation SoC and GPU platforms from early pre-silicon development through post-silicon debug.

You will develop and debug modeling, validation, and bringup infrastructure for SoC and GPU platforms across pre-silicon and silicon environments. Your responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining low-level platform software and execution flow for system integration, debug, and validation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and debug modeling, validation, and bringup infrastructure for SoC and GPU platforms across pre-silicon and silicon environments
  • Implement and maintain low-level platform software and execution flow for system integration, debug, and validation
  • Build and enhance C-model, emulation, and silicon workflows for system execution, issue reproduction, and failure analysis
  • Supply to system-level validation of cross-IP interoperability, memory and data flows, and overall platform behavior
  • Improve regression quality, debug efficiency, and release readiness through practical infrastructure and tooling improvements

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in system software, platform software, validation infrastructure, silicon bringup, modeling, or related areas
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
  • Solid understanding of Linux system software, low-level debug, memory-mapped I/O, and hardware-software interaction

Nice to have:

  • Experience with System C, simulation environments, model integration, trace replay, or related software-based bringup workflows
  • Experience with system-level validation of interoperability, data formats, memory flows, or shared platform behavior
