QA Tester

Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior QA Tester to join the Quality Verification Team for College Football. As a temporary employee on a 12-month contract, you will work closely with producers, engineers, artists, and designers to test and analyze the game product. Your responsibilities will include building relationships with team members to identify bugs and improve quality, considering the game from a player's perspective, and communicating testing progress and status effectively.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent industry experience in an embedded environment, preferably in Quality Assurance
• Experience with testing and defect tracking software, preferably Jira
• Experience writing test documentation, including test cases and test plans
• Experience with different gaming platforms
• Understanding of white/gray/black box testing practices
• Knowledge of software development methodology and stages
• Strong knowledge of American Football, preferably College Football and/or College Football 26

Desired qualifications:

• Experience with collaboration tools, preferably Confluence, Miro, Slack, etc.
• Experience working with off-site teams
• A desire to use innovative testing means, such as automation and data
