Description
Priory Hospital Altrincham is seeking a bank Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) to join their team. The hospital provides specialist care for adults with a range of mental health challenges and addictions.
As an RMN, you will play a key part in patients' recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework
- Assessing, planning and delivering nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes
- Accurately observing and engaging with patients to assess their needs and evaluate their progress
- Monitoring and reviewing Nursing Care plans
- Evaluating and responding to changes in patients' condition and needs
The post holder will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills, a good working knowledge of the mental health act, and experience in a related environment. Successful candidates will be expected to participate in all mandatory training, including PMVA training.
