Finance and Equity Analyst - Rotational Program

As a Finance and Equity Analyst in Carta's 12-month rotational program (RAMP), you'll work on various projects, including:

• Using AI tools, scripting, and CLI-based workflows to automate financial processes
• Supporting customers with 409A valuations, tax reporting, fund implementations, and portfolio data collection
• Identifying inefficiencies in workflows and developing repeatable, scalable systems
• Providing feedback to engineering and product through testing, bug reporting, and process insights
• Becoming an expert in private markets, AI tools, and Carta's ERP vision

You'll join the auditable reporting services team, which supports multiple products and services, including 409A Valuations, Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) Attestations, Fund Tax, Venture Capital & Private Equity Implementations, VC Financial Reporting, Portfolio Data Collection, and Capital Call Lines of Credit.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong interest in AI and automation
• Bias for action and ownership
• Knowledge of financial statements and common financial concepts
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to shifting priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

• Exposure to financial concepts through coursework, internships, or personal interest
• Experience with Python, scripting, or basic technical tooling
• Familiarity with financial modeling in Excel
• Experience using AI tools thoughtfully in your work

The expected cash compensation range for this role is $68,170 - $80,200 CAD in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
