Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Gaming product category team. As a remote or hybrid employee, you will be responsible for the mechanical design and development of gaming products from concept to mass production. Your tasks will include:

• Designing, analyzing, documenting, and testing complex mechanical parts and assemblies
• Ensuring final designs meet quality and cost goals, and achieve specifications of reliability, manufacturability, and functionality
• Partnering with Manufacturing teams and suppliers to optimize designs for mass production
• Resolving mechanical engineering issues and challenges
• Collaborating with other worldwide functions to achieve seamless product development
• Launching the development and qualification of plastic tooling, including design debug

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development of high-volume consumer electronic products
• Good knowledge of plastic, tooling, injection molding, assembly process, cosmetic finishes, and defect analysis
• Good 3D modeling skills
• Advanced knowledge of quality tools such as DFMEA, DFMA, PSS, and Tolerance Analysis
• Fluent prototyping skills
• Experience in the injection-molded plastic industry and related consumer electronic products
• Good command of English writing and speaking
