Description
We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Healthcare team at IQVIA, working on improving and transforming healthcare systems by combining data analysis, organisational knowledge, and extensive industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical coding of episodes using the ICD-10 classification, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Review and validation of coded information to guarantee consistency and reliability.
- Support for hospital queries related to clinical data, indicators, and digital platform usage.
- Basic analysis of clinical and operational data to identify relevant patterns and trends.
- Assistance in preparing reports, presentations, and other deliverables for clients and internal teams.
- Coordination with multidisciplinary teams (clinical, analytical, and management).
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Higher Technical Certificate in Clinical Coding (ICD-10) or equivalent training.
- Previous experience in clinical coding (practical experience and initial experience will be valued).
- Interest in clinical coding and motivation to develop a broader vision focused on data and healthcare management.
- Good command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good level of English.
- Organised, flexible person with adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team and in dynamic environments.
