(Senior) Consultant Commercial Vehicles & Trucks

We are seeking a (Senior) Consultant to join our Commercial Vehicles & Trucks team. As a consultant, you will work with leading commercial vehicle manufacturers and technology companies to shape the future of the industry. You will advise top management on strategic and operational transformations, product and portfolio strategy, R&D, technology, organization, and new business models.

Responsibilities:

• Design the future of the commercial vehicle industry and accompany leading manufacturers and industry companies in strategic and operational transformations.
• Advise top management on key future questions around product and portfolio strategy, R&D, technology, organization, and new business models.
• Take responsibility in national and international consulting projects and develop sustainable solutions with our clients from strategic conception to implementation.
• Bring in your experience and industry knowledge to critically question established structures, transfer best practices, and develop new perspectives for our clients.
• Translate technological changes into strategic fields of action, particularly in the areas of electrification, software-defined vehicles, digitalization, AI, automated and autonomous driving, and connected services.
• Expand relationships within the commercial vehicle industry and utilize your existing network to identify relevant market, technology, and customer trends early on.
• Develop our consulting portfolio for commercial vehicles further, set your own professional impulses, and support the establishment of new consulting approaches and customer relationships.

Requirements:

• Successfully completed master's degree, ideally in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in the commercial vehicle industry or a leading company in the commercial vehicle ecosystem, ideally in an international environment.
• Sound understanding of the commercial vehicle industry, its products, technologies, value creation structures, customers, and key market players.
• Broad understanding of the product life cycle of a commercial vehicle manufacturer and in-depth experience in at least one area such as product strategy, vehicle development/R&D, series or program management, corporate strategy, transformation, digitalization, or AI.
• Generalist and entrepreneurial profile: you combine technical understanding with economic and strategic perspective and can quickly structure complex issues.
• Established network in the commercial vehicle industry and enthusiasm for building, maintaining, and developing contacts with decision-makers and experts.
• Pronounced communication and consulting competence as well as enthusiasm for working with different functions and management levels.
• Analytical strength, initiative, and pragmatism with the claim to not only develop concepts but also to effect concrete changes with the client.
• Very good German and English language skills, additional foreign language skills are beneficial.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
