Scale AI's customer-facing engineering organization is one of the fastest-growing and most technically demanding in enterprise AI. As Program Manager, Technical Enablement, you will build the enablement function from the ground up to support Frontier Agentic Engineers.
Your role involves ensuring every engineer ramps quickly and confidently, has access to a trusted knowledge base, and stays sharp as Scale's platform evolves. You will own the full enablement lifecycle, from onboarding through ongoing development, focusing on ramp speed, knowledge base health, and team readiness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and owning engineering onboarding, designing a structured program for new hires to contribute meaningfully within 30 days
- Defining success criteria for fully ramped engineers and communicating them to new hires and managers
- Auditing, consolidating, and maintaining the authoritative technical knowledge base, eliminating fragmentation and outdated documentation
- Establishing a review cadence to keep content current and setting expiration dates for key documents
- Creating a clear document hierarchy and working with internal experts to surface relevant documentation
- Developing a recurring enablement cadence to keep tenured engineers updated on new capabilities and product changes
- Identifying readiness gaps and developing targeted content to close them
- Collaborating with FAE leadership, the broader Enablement team, and cross-functional stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years of experience in enablement, program management, technical training, or a related role
- 2+ years of program management experience in a fast-moving environment
- Experience supporting technical teams, engineers, or solutions engineers at a B2B technology company
- Strong instincts for knowledge management and experience improving documentation systems
- Comfort navigating technical content and excellent written communication skills
Nice to haves include:
- Background in developer tools, AI/ML platforms, or technical product environments
- Experience building LMS-based learning paths or structured onboarding curricula
- Familiarity with tiered instructional design or adult learning principles
Compensation packages include base salary, equity, and benefits. The salary range for this position in San Francisco and New York is $128,000-$150,000 USD.
