We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President – Regulatory Reward.
Purpose of the role: The role is part of a specialist team focusing on regulatory and executive compensation matters for the Group.
In this role, you will:
- Support the executive scorecard process and related assessment frameworks for Executive Directors and Group Executives, liaising with stakeholders such as scorecard managers, central assessors and others
- Support the annual pay review process for the Senior Executive population
- Support queries from senior executives on their pay arrangements, liaising with other stakeholders including Tax, Benefits and Global Mobility
- Support the analysis and preparation of the Material Risk Taker review process for the Group, using Group, local and sector-specific rules, and manage the related MRT communications
- Support the preparation and completion of regulatory compensation reporting and filings. Understand data requirements and utilise HSBC systems to consolidate compensation data and complete relevant reports
- Partner with colleagues locally and globally to ensure streamlined delivery of executive and regulatory compensation submissions to the Group Remuneration Committee and for external reporting
- Provide high-quality and accurate information to stakeholders, and guidance to teams to ensure they’re able to appropriately account for executive compensation information in planning and reporting
To be successful you will:
- Typical qualifications would include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- High proficiency and capability in Microsoft Excel, including advanced experience with formulas, large dataset analysis and graphs
- Ability to analyse data and develop recommendations based on observed trends
- Proficiency with Employee Central and People Insights reporting
- Detail-oriented
- Well-developed management, interpersonal, organisational, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to organise work and document and report concisely
- Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and work effectively in a flexible working environment
