Description
We are currently recruiting for a Waste HGV Driver to join our team. As a Waste HGV Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering a range of services across the borough, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment for residents.
The role involves operating a range of vehicles, including HGVs, and bin lift equipment. You will be required to work varying shifts, including early mornings and evenings, Monday to Saturday.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safely driving and operating HGVs and other vehicles
- Loading and unloading waste and materials
- Working as part of a team to deliver services across the borough
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Full driving license (Category C1)
- Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings and evenings
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Good communication and teamwork skills
