Aero Performance Engineer

Join the Audi Revolut F1 Team as an Aero Performance Engineer. The team is based in three locations: Neuburg, Germany; Hinwil, Switzerland; and Bicester, United Kingdom.

As an Aero Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Live monitoring and real-time assessment of aerodynamic behavior during track sessions
• Providing feedback and recommendations to track engineering during race events
• Conducting in-depth post-event aerodynamic performance and correlation analysis
• Reporting findings to key stakeholders
• Advancing aerodynamic modeling techniques and associated software tools
• Collaborating with the Wind Tunnel Methodology group and Aero Analytics on testing strategy and aero map generation

Requirements:

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or Motorsport with aerodynamics focus
• Proven F1 experience in an aerodynamicist or aero performance engineering role
• Strong knowledge of aerodynamic measurement techniques
• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python programming
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure with strong attention to detail
• Solid understanding of current Formula 1 aerodynamic principles and car design
• Willingness to travel to race events and test sessions
• Fluent English; German language skills a plus
