Transform network infrastructure by joining Amazon's dynamic team as an Infra Delivery Install Technician. You'll develop innovative solutions that drive network stability and scalability, using your technical expertise to create automated systems that power global technological advancement.
As an Infra Delivery Install Technician, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex technical scenarios, and implement strategic solutions that keep the network running seamlessly. Your tasks will include moving and implementing large enterprise equipment, installing fiber and copper cabling, ensuring proper safety and security standards, following hardware installation procedures, and safely using material handling tools and equipment.
The role requires physical stamina, including lifting and moving up to 40 pounds, working in environments that operate 24/7, and participating in primary responder rotation and after-hours support as needed. You will also need to travel within and outside the regional work area, which may require a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
This position supports data centers in various operational stages and may require travel to established locations for training until your designated site becomes fully operational.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry-standard certification (CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+)
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment
