Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human
Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence.
This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.
The Sr. Analyst, Renewals Strategy & Operations Opportunity
Renewals Strategy & Operations partners with Okta's global Renewals organization to drive forecasting, planning, and systems that protect and grow the company's retained revenue. We support a 67-person Renewals org.
We're looking for a strategic critical thinker with an ownership mindset to drive analytics that scale. As a trusted advisor to the Renewals organization, you own the analytical backbone of the day-to-day business operations, including: forecasting, capacity and retention planning, and accountability and measurement for the org. You build these into scalable, trusted systems.
Responsibilities
- Forecasting. Own the weekly and quarterly forecast process end to end. Maintain accuracy tracking so we know when the forecast is wrong, why, and what to fix. Development of new forecasting models.
- Capacity & Retention Planning. Own target setting and capacity modeling as well as the book of business management to provide renewal management with clear visibility into territory and account health.
- Accountability & Measurement. Partner with cross-functional leadership on incentive design and how we measure individual performance. Own recurring reporting that holds the org accountable: product depth and adoption, true up visibility, and other measures the team needs.
- Analysis & Automation. You understand tables and sources well enough to direct AI tools to generate analysis and own the judgment on top of it to drive strategic decision making. Scale the team's reporting systems for self-service and efficiency.
Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years in an operational analytics, FP&A, or revenue operations role, ideally supporting a GTM, sales, Customer Success, or post-sales function.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce and Tableau; familiarity with Claude Code, Clari, Gainsight, or Jira is a plus.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML tools and data pipelines, enough to direct AI-generated analysis and judge when the output is right.
- Strong understanding of SaaS financial and business metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to collect and assess data and present it in a clear, actionable way to stakeholders.
- A track record of owning a recurring process end to end, with the organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
- Structured, logical thinking: the ability to break down a problem and iteratively test solutions.
- Clear, structured written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
