Job Overview
The primary responsibility of the Collections Associate is to collect payments on outstanding Accounts Receivables. This role requires strong time-management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Collect on business-to-business accounts to reduce Accounts Receivable and minimize bad debt exposure.
- Contact customers via email and phone to secure outstanding balances.
- Perform account reconciliations as needed to resolve account discrepancies.
- Resolve Unapplied and Unidentified Cash Payments to ensure proper posting to the customer account.
- Work with customers to negotiate payment plans.
- Process customer credit card payments.
- Address credit card declines with customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries within 24-48 hours.
- Confer with management to determine additional actions for delinquent accounts.
Requirements

- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment with process optimization.
- 2+ years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections.
- Strong communication, attention-to-detail, analytical, and multitasking skills.
- Strong customer service and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and balance multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, G-Suite applications, and advanced Excel skills.
