CMF Sr. Engineer

The CMF Sr. Engineer is responsible for Materials Formulation research, development, and the Logitech Mice and Keyboard products NPI CMF process design.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize material formulations for new and existing products
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that CMF specifications are met
• Select and source raw materials that meet CMF requirements
• Conduct material testing and characterization
• Stay up-to-date on the latest CMF trends and technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in material formulation
• New product CMF engineering design, making the link between ID/CMF design and manufacturing to achieve optimal user experiences and manufacturability
• Conduct fast prototyping to evaluate ideas and experience to help the project team understand consumer needs and feasibility
• Translate concept descriptions from Design and marketing into feasible/achievable engineering activities

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in material formulation development, preferably in the CMF industry
• 2+ years of 3C products CMF engineering experience
• Proficient level of both written and spoken English
• Experience with resin or paint/ink formulation development
• Strong understanding of materials science
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
