Description
As part of Ford's Manufacturing team, you'll help build world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles. In this Maintenance Supervisor role, you'll lead a dedicated hourly team, fostering an environment where they can do their best work and feel empowered.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance
- Lead and direct a team of employees to consistently make high-quality products and meet or exceed production targets
- Prioritize critical tasks and effectively allocate human resources to maximize efficiency
- Apply a 'Bias for Action,' promptly and decisively addressing safety and quality issues
- Embrace a servant leadership style, focusing on building high-performing teams and investing in their growth
- Utilize data and insights to drive quantifiable improvements in efficiency and quality
- Maintain a relentless focus on identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, improving processes, and driving innovation
- Proactively address conflicts fairly and effectively, facilitating mutually acceptable solutions
- Champion accountability, managing both your own performance and that of the hourly workforce
- Actively listen to and value the perspectives of all team members and other department stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3–7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, or other relevant experience
- Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
- Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
