Everett Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

The Lansing School District serves over 10,000 PreK-12 students across 25 school buildings in the increasingly diverse urban community of Lansing, MI.

We are seeking an athletic coach to support the success of their team(s), including in the classroom.

The coach will be responsible for:

• Recruiting a full team of players by the first day of the season
• Coaching their team to a competitive record
• Ensuring their team is academically successful throughout the entire season
• Providing offseason training opportunities
• Leading in-season tutoring, in accordance with MHSAA policies

Minimum qualifications include:

• Previous successful coaching experience
• Knowledge of high-quality coaching tactics and practice drills
• Knowledge of MHSAA & LSD rules and policies
• CPR Certification & first aid training
• Alignment with Lansing School District's mission and values

Preferred qualifications include:

• Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate
• Successful NCAA athletic career

The salary for this position is USD 1,877-8,919 one-time.
