As a Software Engineer III, you will collaborate with your team to make a difference to customers. You will work in a squad alongside other disciplines like product managers, marketers, user researchers, designers, mobile engineers, web engineers, data analysts, business analysts, writers and more!
Your day-to-day will involve building and supporting a particular part of Monzo's banking platform. You will work on a wide range of projects, from products customers use every day to underlying infrastructure, security, payments, and finance.
We have over 650 engineers across Monzo who design and build our in-house banking platform. We contribute to open source software as much as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with your team to make a difference to customers

- Work on a wide range of projects, from products customers use every day to underlying infrastructure, security, payments, and finance
Requirements:
- Strong experience working on the backend of a technology product
- Product mindset: care about customer outcomes and want to make data-informed decisions
- Comfortable working in a team that deals with ambiguity
- Interested in distributed systems and writing resilient software
- Experience with strongly-typed languages (Go, Java, C, Scala etc.)
