Engagement Manager

Deutsche Bank Management Consulting (DBMC) is the in-house management consulting arm of Deutsche Bank. We act as independent advisors to senior management and take responsibility for the bank's long-term success.

As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for structuring, planning, and managing complex strategic and transformational projects. You will lead project teams, work closely with senior management, and ensure the successful achievement of defined project goals.

Key responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for strategy and transformation projects from conception to implementation.
• You will lead global project teams, structure workflows, and ensure high-quality results.
• You will develop structured decision-making materials, derive clear courses of action, and present them to internal clients at management level.
• You will manage decision-making processes at senior management level and ensure alignment and goal achievement.
• You will actively drive the use of AI-based solutions in project contexts and contribute to their integration into workflows.

Requirements:

• Very good academic degree – applications from all disciplines are welcome.
• Long-term experience in management consulting or a comparable function.
• Several years of experience in the financial services environment.
• Several years of experience in leading projects and managing project teams.
• Sound experience in managing strategic projects or central workstreams at senior management level.
• Experience in an international environment, e.g., through studies, projects, or professional activities abroad.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and proven effective use of AI tools to increase productivity, optimize processes, and solve business problems.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a very structured way of working.
• Fluent German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
• High sense of personal responsibility, pronounced team orientation, and a sovereign appearance at senior management level.
