Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist II, Inpatient, Float to join our team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments according to the Standard of Practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing sound professional judgment in interpreting evaluation results and establishing treatment plans
  • Maintaining accurate patient documentation and completing written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes
  • Meeting department financial and productivity standards
  • Participating in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services
  • Promoting professional development and education of other healthcare workers
  • Supervising physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students
  • Communicating effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy school with a bachelor's degree, M.S., or D.P.T. preferred
  • Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina
  • CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C required
