Reliability Maintenance Technician

Ruveon is building a focused, fast-moving team and is looking for a Reliability Maintenance Technician to join their crew. As a Reliability Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of assigned industrial chiller systems.

Responsibilities:

• Own assigned industrial chillers and take technical lead on efficient operation and reliability.
• Perform routine monitoring of chiller operating parameters and maintain detailed performance and maintenance logs.
• Monitor refrigerant, oil, and coolant levels, and perform leak detection using handheld detection equipment.
• Troubleshoot temperature, load, oil migration, and refrigerant imbalance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Support periodic inspections, shutdown and startup support, and major repairs.
• Forecast major equipment repairs and contribute to long-range asset planning.
• Maintain spare parts awareness and inventory accuracy within SAP.
• Support development of training materials and procedures.
• Adhere to all site safety requirements and permitting processes.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED with maintenance or chiller operations experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification or ability to get within 18 months.
• Applicable state HVAC/Refrigeration license or ability to get within 18 months.
• Ability to perform highly complex repairs and adjustments.
• Demonstrated operational and reliability awareness.
• Extensive hands-on experience with shutdown/startup support, OEM coordination, and system performance evaluation.
• Strong proficiency in SAP and oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC or Refrigeration Technical Training.
• Significant experience servicing and troubleshooting industrial refrigeration or chiller systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience with oil systems, refrigerants, compressors, and heat exchangers.
